retreat packing list

Other than the obvious, typical packing items, here is a quick list of things we suggest you bring with you to the retreat!

Bible, journal & pen

Make sure to pack your bible, something to journal in and your favorite pen - our prayer is that you will be more immersed in scripture througout this weekend than you have been in a while!

light jacket + comfortable outdoor shoes

As spring arrives, the rains begin to wane, and temperatures climb again. Daytime highs are in the 50s and 60s, so you should be comfortable in lightweight layers with a jacket on top. We recommend bringing a pair of outdoor shoes (Chacos, Tevas, tennis shoes or the like) so that you can feel free to hike around the island!

a party outfit for our celebration dinner

Don't think you have to go out and shop for this, ladies! We just think sometimes, slipping on a dress that makes us happy and we can twirl in makes the most sense, especially when we're having a celebratory dinner with new and old friends. Don't worry, sweats + house shoes are encouraged the other 90% of the weekend.

SOME "FUN" MONEY

This certainly isn't a necessity, but if you want to go grab a gourmet coffee on the island, treat yourself to a facial at one of the spas or make a special trip into Seattle, we encourage you to bring some extra cash! We will have some fun things for sale (sweatshirts, anyone?) as well, so if you think you'll want to splurge on that, come prepared!

ONE BAG

We are STRONGLY encouraging everyone to pack lightly, and if at all possible to only bring one bag with you for the weekend! This will make transferring to and from the airport much smoother, as well as give everyone more space to spread out and relax at the farm!
