Our heart for this retreat is to give you room to rest and recharge in a setting that helps draw you closer to Christ. We are a community of women who are weary, messy and thirsty for more of Jesus and less of this often over-edited life we live in, and this retreat is our way of inviting you in and doing life with you on a deeper level. We have built in time for you to worship, learn from our leaders and one another, take naps, bubble baths & hikes, meet new friends, try new things and dig in deeper to scripture and truth.

We would LOVE to have you, and we can’t wait for April 2017!

Q & A

What airport would I need to fly into to get to the retreat?

If you want to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle to and from the retreat venue, we recommend flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

How many women will be attending, and will I be the only one who doesn't know anyone?

We prefer to keep our retreats small so that we can really get to know one another and create an environment conducive to rest and rejuvenation, so for that reason there will be a total of twenty women joining us this year! With the exception of a few, the majority of women who attend our retreats don't know anyone before the weekend begins, and we have attendees from all over the United States and Canada.

Should I be a certain age to attend?

We firmly believe that we can learn so much more when multiple generations are represented - we do require you be at least twenty-one to attend, but past that there is no age restriction and the ages of the women attending range from twenty-one to fifty!

Will there be a schedule for the weekend?

We always create a schedule for our retreats for those who are more comfortable with planned activities, etc. But we also build in lots of free time + encourage our attendees to join in on the activities they want to be a part of and to stay back if they want to as well!

It is your weekend, so you make the calls on how you spend your time. We just want you to leave refreshed and rested!

Will I have my own room?

Because of the nature of our retreats and the venues we choose, most attendees will be sharing a room with one to three other women! We will live in close community all weekend, and we feel some of the best conversations + life changing moments can happen when the lights are out and the schedule is non-existent. Please keep this in mind when considering whether or not this is the retreat for you, and let us know if you are concerned and we will try to accommodate the best we can!

What exactly do you believe as a ministry and what are the foundations you will be leading from for this retreat?

Great questions! You can learn more about that HERE.

WHAT IS THERE TO DO ON THE ISLAND DURING FREE TIME AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET FROM SEATTLE TO VASHON?

Vashon is a tiny island full of opportunities to shop local, visit wineries, go to the spa, spend a day by the water, grab coffee + tea - and that's just to name a few. Seattle is a short 15 minute ferry ride from Vashon, so if you're itching to visit Pike Place Market or the Space Needle, you can make that happen, too.

HOW SOON DO I NEED TO REGISTER IF I WANT A SPOT AT THE RETREAT?

We only have TWO SPOTS available at this point, so we'd say as soon as possible!
